Memory Care

A Safe, Secure, and Supportive environment

In partnership with USF’s School of Aging Studies, Weinberg Village is participating in a four-week music-based program that studies how the power of music can reduce agitation among assisted living residents with memory loss.
The Sylvan and Jean Orloff Memory delivers a sense of routine, purpose, and accomplishment for residents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, related dementia and behavioral challenges.
We have 22 dedicated memory care rooms in a secure wing within our facility with a functional floor plan to facilitate the redirection of residents.

Residents enjoy various therapy and life skills stations, including music, office, classroom, child care, laundry, sewing, and more.

Our specially trained and compassionate medical technicians and staff are well-educated on each resident’s preferences, personality, patterns and behaviors, allowing them to deliver individual and appropriate care while detecting any changes that need immediate attention.

Therapy and life skills stations are set up to promote cognitive and physical capabilities and to provide a sense of purpose and belonging.

Memory care residents enjoy three fresh, delicious, kosher meals daily, with multiple options in their private and secure dining space.
